Prescott Homes for Sale Waiting for You
Prescott homes for sale are waiting for you today.
Where ever you are today at this moment, you may be considering making the move to Prescott in the very near future. Perhaps you read about this place in a magazine or saw something on the television, or maybe a friend or someone you know told you about Prescott Arizona. Whatever the case may be, if you are looking for a wonderful place to live, you might find that this may be the place for you.
Have you had the opportunity to walk around the Courthouse Square yet, or window shop the myriad antique shops of the immediate downtown area? My wife and I will occasionally go into one of them and it’s like stepping into a time machine back into the 1950’s and earlier. I find myself walking though Americana — whether it’s furniture, children’ toys, vinyl records, wine glasses, ceramics, or clothing from a forgotten generation.
Although I wasn’t walking the earth back in the 1950’s, or the 1890’s, I can imagine for a moment what it make have been like as I can smell the different scents permeating the vintage fabrics and papers of the objects for sale before me along the cluttered and organized isles.
But what does this have to do with Prescott homes for sale?
My first answer is that living in Prescott gives me the chance to experience a time and a place that mostly remains in the memories of the folks of generations past, but that still exists today for my children and me to witness firsthand, and yet surrounded my the amenities of a more modern time.
As corny as this may sound, I remember watching reruns of the Andy Griffin Show as a boy living in Chicago. I used to wish that I could live in a place somewhat like Mayberry — well, maybe a town a little bigger, you know something like Mount Pilot. Anyway, I think I found that place here in Prescott Arizona. And although I can get in my car and drive down to Phoenix to experience millions of people at the same time, or I can open a browser window and access almost any topic on the internet, there is a wonderful sense of happiness I get having the opportunity to live in the Prescott home for sale that my wife and I purchased when we moved here to find our little piece of Americana.
I hope you find that this little town here in central Arizona may also be a little slice of peace and happiness you too have been hoping to find.
