Prescott Homes for Sale – Tsunami on the Square
Prescott homes for sale and the 3rd weekend in June means it’s time for Tsunami on the Square and a great opportunity to experience the culture of Prescott while you’re finding a wonderful place to live.

If you took the Burning Man Festival that occurs annually out in the desert in California and made a “G” rated version of it you would have Prescott Arizona’s Tsunami on the Square.
Tsunami on the Square is an event which takes place on the third weekend in June in downtown Prescott at the Courthouse Square. What makes this such a wonderful event is that it’s free, it’s all-ages, and it’s a truly magical performing arts and culture festival.
If you decide to come to town to see beautiful Prescott homes for sale, why not come on this weekend and immerse yourself in an event which offers global and modern dance forms, music, performance art, circus arts, and outdoor theater.
One of the wonderful benefits for Prescott citizens is access to cultural and educational events offered in our town due to the Tsunami’s partnership with Arizona artists and arts organizations.
The Tsunami on the Square consists of 14 hours of live performances spanning the course of two days. In addition to the main stage one of the days consists of performances by local children on the second stage.
In addition to the acts, there is also a parade running down Whiskey Row and other historic downtown streets that showcases all of the performers. There are also “skitmercials” which are short, funny, live theatrical mini productions presented as advertisements for local businesses and non-profits.
While not everyone who attends the Tsunami on the Square will perform on stage, there is a Circus Camp which offers performance and visual art workshops for the kids, mentored by professional performers and artists.
Prescott homes for sale are currently located all throughout the beautiful city of Prescott Arizona. And I believe that there’s one that’s just what you have been looking for if you long for a place to raise your family or retire to or to live that’s ever so slightly off the beaten path. My wife and I moved from Los Angeles to Prescott because we wanted to raise our children in a wonderful place. I know that we made the right decision.
